At the auditions we will workshop multiple sections of the script which will be handed out on the night, everyone will get the opportunity to play multiple characters and perform them in small groups to each other. We will also do some group singing and dancing, which you do not need to prepare in advance for. If you are auditioning for a leading role that sings you will need to sing a solo audition of a verse and a chorus of a song of your choice. We recommend you choose a song that is either sympathetic to the style of the music in Bonnie and Clyde and/or the character(s) you are interested in playing or one of their songs from the musical.
We recommend you familiarise yourself with the story of Bonnie and Clyde the musical and ensure you are ok with what may be required in conveying its more mature and challenging content. This includes: violence and gun crime, death and injury, sexual content, violence and assault and moderately strong language.
It is FREE to take part in our productions, in return we ask for your enthusiasm, team work and dedication.
Auditions are for adults and young people aged 16 or over.
Any additional auditions for younger roles (eg Young Bonnie and Young Clyde) will be announced at a later date if the roles are not filled at the initial audition stage.
